SkillRelay Terms of Service

SkillRelay helps adults connect for live one-to-one learning and skill exchange. Users are responsible for providing truthful profile information, treating others respectfully, and following applicable law.

Account eligibility

The initial version is available only to people aged 18 or older. Each person must maintain one accurate account and protect their password.

Sessions and conduct

Users must not offer unlawful, dangerous, deceptive, medical, legal, or investment services. Harassment, discrimination, sexual content, fraud, and attempts to compromise another user’s privacy are prohibited.

Payments and cancellations

Payment, cancellation, refund, exchange-credit, and teacher-payout rules will be displayed before paid bookings become available.

Platform role

SkillRelay facilitates introductions and sessions but does not guarantee a user’s qualifications or a particular learning outcome. Verified reviews and safety controls are intended to help users make informed decisions.

Account action

Accounts may be restricted or closed for policy violations, fraud, safety risks, or legal requirements.

Before public launch: have these terms reviewed for the countries in which the service and marketplace payments will operate.
